I used the VAC also and am tracking the application. It does say it has reached IRCC, so you should be able to see something like that when it gets tot he High Commission.

Hey! No interview was requested for us. Some do have interviews, some do not. Hard to say which ones for sure. I will say that our case is very straight forward (e.g. provided lots of evidence, neither of us have children, no criminal records, long employment history and steady employment).

Wow! I am surprised about the length of the expiry date on the COPR! Is that normal? Maybe they made it so long to accommodate any potential closures due to COVID?

In my humble opinion, I would say no. Visitor Visas aren't really being granted right now because of the pandemic. You all already at DM, so just a little longer (let's hope)!
