Hi, is any awaiting notice to appear for an admissibility hearing? Any idea how long this may take. Please share your experience if you've been, are in this or have any idea

They have my national identity from my home country and other country I have been. The funny part is even lawyer says he doesn't know why my case was sent there. It s really important to go there with a lawyer? The money he's asking my to pay I cant afford it.

Thank you for the prompt response. Unfortunately none of the above ever happened to me. I know the member who conducted my hearing(twice) said she wasn't convinced of my identity since I had no passport but other identification documents. I'm guessing the the issue of identity is paramount here.

Hi all, I finally got a letter my file was sent to CBSA at 1010 for an inperson examination. This is after i got a letter the minister will intervene in my case. Any idea why this is happening? I have been very nervous since I got that mail. Any idea will be much appreciated

Amazing! Super happy for you and thank you for your words of encouragement. Atleast you had an idea while the minister wanted to intervene in your case. Mine didn't mention anything specific. I"m not sure if they'll send me another letter to state that. That's where my curiosity stands.

Thank you canuck78, I really appreciate. My lawyer said it might be because of identification problem. She's however not very sure why. I'll keep my fingers crossed hoping its nothing alarming

Hi all, I had a hearing twice and awaiting a decision for over 10 months now. Just received a letter stating the minister is intervening in my case and is calling for another hearing. Any idea why this might happen and how soon is that often done? Any help will be appreciated
