All the airline is doing is checking with IRCC or NDVO by sending pictures of travel documents. If they receive a positive response, people are being allowed to board.

Just whatever you showed as proof of funds in your application. They want to make sure you have access to those funds. There is no minimum requirement of cash or anything like that.

No I did not that much money in hand. They just wanted to know as anything more than 10K has to be declared as per law.

No. I did not book flights or anything prior to getting the AL. In fact, i have to book them today. Not sure on what basis, IRCC chose to give such a short extension.
