I submitted a LOE but I still have not heard back yet.

I lost count of how many times I called. I could’ve been on my PR application by now (given the one year of full time work experience). I just don’t know what to do. Every single time I call, they don’t tell me anything that I don’t already know. It’s so frustrating….

Hi folks, I applied to my PGWP in 2020 (September) and I still haven’t heard back. I disclosed the unauthorized work and my application got transferred to Etobicoke. I have no idea if I’ll get it. It’s been over a year.

I applied before my permit expired, but I had done some full time work before. Now I know it’s unauthorized. I submitted a LOE and quit work to make a case of contrition. But now they have transferred my file to Etobicoke. It’ll take them 10 months to get back to me.

Yes but even if you had done unauthorized work, how do they expect us to not work for so many months until they get back to us? Even if we’re technically inadmissible, we haven’t heard back yet. I’m pretty much running out of money.

Even if there was some unauthorized work done before submission?

But are you able to since you submitted a PGWP? How do they expect us to not work for months?? This doesn’t make sense whatsoever.

Yes I did. It is really quite unfair.

When did you apply?

No. This really sucks and I think is unfair. I don’t understand why they’d take 10 more months to process such an application even if it requires “more attention”

Any idea why this transfer happened in the first place? Why my application? And how long does it take to get these notes?
