He applied on Nov 2018. And waiting for the mail of notice of appear for the hearing.

Sorry to hear that. Let your Laywer check what is the reason of cancelling. Did they cancel before a hearing date for you or this is the first time?

When did you sign the consent form ?

My friend signed the consent form for the virtual hearing and didn’t receive date for hearing and didn’t receive this “intend to proceed “ letter.

Am asking for my friend how he will travel with expired passport and there is connection flight? He should renew it before leaving . And another thing why he is asking to whom will be giving because there is connection flight to reach his country .

his home country embassy said they will renew it but they need the expired passport and Cbsa will not give him the passport only in departure .

Hello everyone Friend of mine wants to withdraw his refugee claimant after waiting. For 3.5 years without hearing .. anyone know how he can get back his expired passport which is seized by the Cbsa ? How can he renew it before departure or the the Cbsa will send it to the consulate for renewing...
