Has anyone’s status moved to In Process (non-urgent)? Can we expect, if conditions improved, to interview and write our tests in Spring (May/June)? (I assume January/Feb and some March 2020 applicants may be interviewing and examined by Feb/March 2021 since most have cleared processing ...)

Of course not! I waited 1,800 days as a fail-safe approach, meaning that even if I left the country for 200 days out of that time, I’d still be okay. I’ve actually lived in Canada for over 15 years now but decided that it’s now my home.

Good question, could it be your local visa office is slower/short-staffed?
