The passport can be sent for urgent stamping and within this week you should receive it back with visa stamped. Sometimes PRO's delay things because they rather just go when they have a bulk of tasks to complete in one go. So maybe call your PRO and give him a bit of urgency.

You will have to do the biometric, but I think you can contact the visa application center and inquire about the situation. Probably they can extend the biometric window since it is a global emergency
