But I didn't state the application as nikah only. I just put down everything truthfully, We had a dolki type function, then nikah, then reception. I basically let them assume and decide if they consider this marriage or Nikkah only LOL..now they can go crazy thinking about that themselves ;)

What I noticed on the forum, Nikkah only cases got objection letters, rushed to Pakistan, got rukshati, subhmitted the proves, and everything is smooth.

Only do nikkah AFTER you have landed in Canada and officially become a PR. Do not do nikkah before coming to Canada and becoming a PR. Once you have become a PR, you can do nikkah either in Canada or outside of Canada.

Nikkah only case are not processed easily. they usually ask you to provide pictures of rukhsati. they want the complete marriage ceremony.

Hi guys, i have only the engish version of our nikkah nama? Does it works fine? I dont have the urdu one. We just filled out the english version of the nikkah nama.

I am not saying that CHC-I accepts the English Nikkah nama only. I was trying to point out the stupidity of CHC-I. They want a Nikkah nama in urdu along with a certified translation of nikkah nama. So why not just accept an original Nikkah nama in english instead of asking for an urdu nikkah...
