I applied for a work permit this summer after graduating but the work permit was only provided till April 2018 which is the date of my passport expiry. As a graduate student I am entitled to a 3 year PGWP. How do I apply for an extension of the work permit?

Is it possible for a fresh graduate (with a masters degree) from the UK to immigrate to Canada? If so, what are the documentations required. I wish to work in Canada to build my job experience. I have not worked anywhere else previously. I am also not a British citizen.
