OK, thank you . I have just sent an email to the Paris office. I will probably also send one to the Turkish office asking if my application is with them, to cover both grounds just in case.

For now I have sent an inquiry via the webform to the Paris office (@mamgain : I did not see your response before doing so, and when I rechecked the email I realised it is still signed "IRCC Paris", eventhough the content refers to Iran, so I am not sure where my application really is anymore)...
