I will tell you take time off from work and go to Pakistan. Have your Rukhsati and all other stuff and take a lot of pictures, then send it all to them with your boarding passes and recepies And good luck

I got married in Pakistan and sponsored my wife after a "nikkah only" ceremony. The application was approved and she received her PR. This was a while back, but should hopefully provide comfort that CIC is familiar with the documents and process.

I think only Rukhsati cases are bit faster regardless of Husband or wife. Unfortunately, mine is just Nikkah .. one could only hope :-/ One of my close friend's file was transferred in January 2011 and still his wife waiting for PPR

Did they change it recently? Most probably case to case. Ours was a nikkah only case back in 2014 and got PR in 2015 without any issue or interview.
