Thanks for the response, greatly appreciated. I know the answer seems clear, but i tried checking with the local embassy but they couldnt confirm. also how does it work? will they immediately become citizen and be granted a passport from the embassy? any idea how long that generally takes? thanks

Hi, I immigrated with my parents to Canada in the 1990's. I got my Canadian Citizenship at age 9 through my parents after they had received citizenship. I am now living and working overseas with my wife who is a PR and in process of applying for citizenship (she has lived in canada over 3 years...
