In apply ko po sya ng extension from Jan 2021 to July 2021, kasi sa jan 2021 mag eend yun 2 years nya po. then extend extend lang every 6 months until such time na maapply na naming sya for sponsorship.

Up until March 2020 po yun nakatatak sa VISA nya. Pero as per the IRCC website, valid ang first stay nya for up to 2 years. Kasi ang ibig sabihin po ng VISA, it is a document that states the date that you "MUST" arrive.

I just checked again her passport, and there is a stamp from CBSA, the stamp is the date of her entry, thats it. They didnt have a writing with it

Ok, given of her invalidity of the old passport, what should we do if you were on our situation? Do you think visitor extension should be done? When should we apply her? We need your advise, coz we are in a desperste situation. Thank you in advance.

We are very fully aware that the OLD invalid passport will nearly expire that is why we renewed it from the consulate, so now, she have a NEW passport with 10 yrs validity. And we asked the consulate if the OLD one is valid, they said it's not. The NEW passport, is of course, is her NEW...

But the passport is already invalid from the day it was renewed, so the new passport expiry is now 2029

The thing is, she didn't have the stamp from CBSA. So we didnt know her true length of stay.

Ok, So, this time the 2 years is not happening to us, because of her old passport. So I guess you're right, their basis is only the old passport. This time, we will be using her new passport for her renewal.
