    After taking PR went to Australia to do PHD, now can I apply for Citizenship?

    After taking PR went to Australia to do PHD, I stayed 4 month in Canada During July 2010 to Oct 2010 and the last 3 years in Australia . Now I got my degree. After returning back to Canada can I apply for Citizenship? Can I get exemption from the physically staying in Canada?
