what you did with the passport?

Hi everybody I applied for my mom visa on 4th sep 2013 , received medical request and passport back on 28th sep 2013. medical done on 30th sep 2013. want to know If anybody get the same thing , how you send the passport back? have to wait of CHC call or letter? your reply will be appreciated...
