Hello. I currently have a driving test scheduled in Ontario but I would like to take time to get familiar with a rental car rather than pay for an expensive driving school vehicle. Will I be able to use a rental car in the test or would they instantly fail me?

Hi everyone. I've received my COPR and plan on landing soon. Someone just reminded me that I need to show proof of funds when I arrive in Canada. What can I use for evidence of this? Also, can you confirm that all I need when I land are: 1. Passport with visa 2. COPR 3. Proof of funds Thanks!

I can't remember exactly when the ghost updates happened. After receiving the PPR the background check still says "We are processing your background check". AOR: 21st March 2019 IP2: Assumed 3rd June 2019 PPR: 20th June 2019

I didn't notice any after IP2. I do believe I got at least one ghost update before.

I got my PPR today but the letter had PPT in title - was a bit confused. Also, apparently now you have 15 days to submit passport? AOR: 21st March 2019 PPR: 20th June 2019

I wish that the process was more transparent. That way it eases the worry which many applicants face, and reduce the number of persons calling to find out about their status.
