I think the easiest way would be to complete your marriage and add her on to your file. spousal sponsorship will wear you off. it takes anywhere from 14-20 months if its a straight forward case. anyone else might wanna shed some light here.

You can get it feom union councel where the nikkah took place. Also you can check with the same qazi sb who was at your nikkah they usually carry that register and then rhey register it with union council. Fet that nikkah nama in urdu and make copies also certify true copy n notorized keep then...

It wont affect if you are not working. But you will take oath when submitting sponsorship application that you will be responsible for financial support of your wife for 3 years. This is an undertaking that you are responsible for her financials even if you are not working...
