    Thanks for the answer .. but i have been told i need to change the visa type to visitor and then only I can stay in CANADA until the work permit expires.

    Working on CWP , want to Quit the job

    I am working in canada on a closed work permit ( CWP ) for my employer. My permit is valid till September 2014. If I quit the job do i need to leave the country OR I can stay in CANADA and look out for other job oppotunity? Need to know how it works in case of CWP. Thanks for the responses.
