Happy news, Guys.. i got my passport back with VISA stamped. Here are my dates: TRV filed (sent the documents to New York) - 20/07/2011 Received the passport back - 19/08/2011 Work permit based TRV - Yes. I wish all others waiting for passport should get theirs back soon...

Hello autobhanzoom, Did you get any response from CIC? Once you sent the new check, are they processing yours right from scratch? Looks like from "only a dreamer's" timelines, they are taking 44 days to send the TRV.
