So Let's assume the following: 1. An employer offers me position. 2. I'm issued a PR 3. I Land in Canada and state that I do NOT intend to take the position offered (Or resign very quickly). What happens now - am I free to take any other job I can get?

Is the job a real one? By that, I mean: If your application is approved, will you actually work for your friend. If not, then, in theory, you're breaking the law - at least that's my worry (I am in a similar situation with the same problem).
