Anyone heard from CSBA about softening their policy globally (not on a case by case basis) to account for the still occurring pandemic and give delay to move in before losing permanent residency status?

Any update on this? I'm still wondering if I need to go out of my way to fly in before the 1 year after doing my landing is due just so I can submit my list of goods to the CBSA agent (again I would not be moving my belongings then).

So you're saying I don't have a particular time limit to land as a "settler" for customs purposes, besides the 2 out of 5 years requirement to retain my permanent resident immigration status? In other words I can submit that goods to follow list later than 1 year after doing my soft landing?

Up to a year to provide the list of goods.

The customs officer didn't say it was a time limit for the goods to be imported but to present my goods to follow list. As a result I didn't give him the list when doing my soft landing.

Even if you can't fly as all flights are cancelled or severely disrupted between now and then? Are you saying they'd accept you mailing it in?

The application will be sent by registered mail from Ireland to UK with AnPost services. I'm referring to the self-addressed enveloppe one has to include in the application to get their passeport back. Does it need to be prepaid/stamped or is it enough to just put your name and address on it...
