Thanks for your comments. As it is now almost 9 weeks since you landed, I would suggest that you contact the CIC Call Centre immediately on 1-888-242-2100. It may take a few attempts to get an agent on the line, but keep trying.

To the best of my knowledge, PR Cards cannot be collected in person. They are mailed to the address that you provide the Immigration Officer when you land. With regards to your dilemma, if you really must leave then you could use a friend’s Canadian address. Once they receive your card in 5-7...

If it is possible, apply immediately (at the nearest Canadian Embassy) for a PR Travel Document for your baby. Let’s hope you get it in time to fly back to Edmonton for your appointment on May 30, so that the existing PR Card application can be completed. If it is not possible to fly back...
