that's interesting. It's a little confusing, because when I entered using AVR the first time, I got an entry stamp and new I-94. The second time, I did not. It seems to me like there needs to be a standard procedure for a situation like this.

Just to follow up - does this mean that when you enter the US using AVR, a new I-94 is not issued to you?

Thank you for your response. How recent was this? Up until June, they used to provide paper I-94 at land borders, but now it mentions that even land border crossings will be issued Electronic I-94s. Also, did your I-94 number change?
