Thanks for your reply. I believe it makes sense. But, if someone is in TN visa and cross the border while green card application is in process, might be in trouble crossing the border everyday as TN is not a dual intent. Please correct me if my statement above was wrong. Thanks

I am going to be in same situation as well. I am a Canadian PR and working in US in H1-B. I will be eligible for Canadian citizenship in a month or so. But I was wondering whether I have to apply for the citizenship after I apply for green card first.

Of course, I did. But one of the eleigibility criteria is strong ties to back home. In my parent's case, if both of them apply for Canada super-visa, they do not have enough ties back to home country except financial assets.
