    Thanks for you reply. I have been trying to contact immigration for days but they keep hanging up on me. I just don't know if I need something in writing to say that I can work as a sub contractor. But lots of people do it obviously you just have to do your tax correctly?

    Why isn't it stated on the cic website? It just keeps saying you can work for any employer? Sub contracting makes you technically independent? Are you allowed to be independent on that visa?
