just wanted to share our great news! We sent in my hubby's passport on Oct 24th (PPR from LA Oct 17th) and received it back (at his US address) on Sat Nov 17 - he is driving back to Michigan today to pack and planning to come back = land on Monday or Tuesday!!! I can't believe the wait is over...

CONGRATULATIONS happylaw!!!! my husband received his PPR last week on Oct 17th - it's been almost a week and we still can't believe it :D enjoy it and let's hope we get them back soon :D

yes simb, eCas for us still shows application received and no comment on medicals (even though we submitted them with our application in Feb and again 2 months ago)...I know eCas is fairly accurate with timely updates for some people here but doesn't seem to work for us

happylaw you're definitely not alone...i'm a Feb 7th applicant still waiting...we were asked to redo our medicals and for whatever reason they didn't even consider extending their validity for us...we resubmitted my hubby's medicals a month ago and we are still waiting :( eCAS still doesn't say...

I heard nothing :'( it's been a LOOOOONG month since we got a request from CPP-O to redo my hubby's medical and eCAS shows no change and no medical received comment... I am so frustrated with this process !!!! I'm going insane, checking eCAS twice a day :o

just a quick update .... we went in process on Aug 18th ... but got an email on Monday from CPP-Ottawa to redo medicals:( My sponsorship was approved May 10th stating our file is being forwarded to LA - well seems it was rerouted to Ottawa... hoping my file finally makes it to LA ;D

hi happylaw...i'm in the same situation as you...app filed in Feb, file sent to LA VO in May and nothing since I couldn't get anyone at CIC to tell me where my file is and I sent an email to LA to follow up as my husband's medicals expired...still nothing it's so frustrating...by reading...

Another week's gone and still nothing >:( no updates on eCas, no emails, i can't even get to a real person in the Call Center... :'( usually i start the week with a little hope for some movement but not today :( hoping some of you hear good news this week and give me faith in the process
