So PP was received by embassy on 12 Sept (couriered by Aramex), No relation with VFS. Got PP back thr' Aramex on 19 Sept. Overall service of embassy not so punctual. Visa validity starts as per PP submission notice, valid for 180 days, single entry. happy travels.

So weird. How come a PP goes to a wrong place ? such a crazy dept. My PP was delivered to Embassy on 12 Sept by Aramex, got it back on 19 sept again by Aramex. May the force be with you :)

Glad that I skipped Kiev. Canadian embassy in Kiev has informed me that they cannot process my PP in Kiev since they didn't handle my TRV.

Actually somewhere at the immigration website I came to see that if applying in country other than PP then such residence visa should be valid for at least 6 months. Unfortunately that page cannot be found now. I am really short of time. All depends upon PP return date.

Painful means I had to 're-re-re-arrange' my travel plans. Still I have not booked flight, hotels and other services since I have to get sticker in PP first and don't know the details in it. It is getting cold week by week in Canada and so I need to make it withing next 2 months, not after that...
