VFS global Nairobi just posted that they will be open for business from next week, Sept 7th. Some good news. Hope this means the embassy will be working too!

At least they responded to you. And it is a good thing if they are really working as they claim. I emailed them back in May and got an automated response of how the Nairobi High Commission is closed and only working on essential services to Canadian Nationals. Did you use this email address...

I honestly wonder what is stopping them from working. All over the world things are moving on.. Sad state for us!

Congratulations to you! At least you have your medical request. You might be the first one to receive PPR immediately they open. Please keep us posted. From what source did you hear about August 1st opening?

None! I think Nairobi VO is not operating!

So glad to see we are a number of us! Our file was sent there mid Feb. Haven't heard anything since.. just a message on ECAS : We started processing PA's application on February 18, 2020... So Nairobi VO should have received the file but they seem not to be sending any official communication...

Me too my biometrics enrollment on GC say same thing. ECAS says 'We started processing PA's application on February 18, 2020'. So I would like to believe that Nairobi VO received the application but they just don't send out AOR2... As for next steps, we can only wait and see.. Good luck to you...

Hello, Anyone has their application moved to Nairobi VO for further processing recently? Please share your timeline. My file was moved there since Feb 14th 2020 and I have not heard anything from them yet. Thanks.
