I wish you the best of luck! I really hope he doesn't have a hard time either. I am sure everything will be okay though, sometimes you get a crappy immigration officer, but they usually let you through. My husband visited me about 2 or 3 times when he was only my boyfriend and he didn't have a...

When my husband returned, he flew in. Yes he did tell them he was here to see me and yes we told them we were going to be applying for PR. The reason why they had such a big problem with it was because he and I had already been married for almost a year and still had not applied for PR. So that...

Would you say this is a good sign?

Immigration Canada has informed us by letter that our application is complete and that our local immigration center will contact us concerning our PR status. Is that good or bad? We already sent in medicals and everything was received and it's an inland application, if anyone has some insight...

Hi, my husband and I applied for PR in December of this past year. We are in process and waiting for a response. I was just wondering, I keep reading about First stage approval on immigration forums, what exactly does that mean? I know we don't have it yet, but I was wondering what it means.
