You will prob be 19 by the time you get approved....and u have to be married or living together one full year to be common law at least. it;s not as easy as you think. Maybe you can go there as a student

Your girlfriend and you will have to be 18 to even begin talking about sponsorship...read about it.

When is it too late to withdraw an application...If I sponsor my conjugal partner and he got a PR Visa...could I break up with him and that Visa would not be Valid? Would he be stopped at the border as soon as he says we are no longer dating..although he has a Visa to become a PR? Thanks, Mary

As my husband and I are outside of Canada living together and I apply to sponsor him and let say he got his VISA to get a PR upon landing would it be legal for us to do the landing and return to the USA to live another 6 months so we can sell of our stuff and give our notices to our employers...
