Hi All, My agent told me that i need to complete three things once I land...get PR card, apply for SIN and open a bank account. Does getting a SIN makes me a tax resident? Thanks, Cat

I see. The PR card is just mailed to the address you provide when landing and I do not have to receive it personally. This solves my problem then. Thank you so much! ;D

Hi All, This is my first time in the forum and I hope any of you can answer my query. My application for PR is still on going and hopefully be completed in the next 6 months. I know that in order to maintain my PR is to stay in Canada for minimum 2 years within 5 years. Work is still good here...
