Hey buddy, I did some research about lost mail. There are people Lives in Vancouver waited over 6 weeks for passport to be returned from LA CIC office. I really do believe that it not lost, you can also send a email ask them if they send it back with registered mail.

Just sit tight for a little while, I am sure it not lost cause you are not the only one is waiting, the guy in Hamilton waited over a month by now.

I was wondering why didn't they use your envelope, did you put both you and CIC's address on the envelope?

If I were you, I would wait until the end of this week, then I am going to send another email to CIC to ask them if I can get a new passport and get the visa again.

I had order something online from California and it tool more than 3 weeks to get to me and i am living at Vancouver area too. It was regular mail.

I am so sorry for that. I heard there are a lot people somehow lost there passports when cIc return them. I am very worry about my too, I sent it out at Jan 19th, and I haven't heard anything yet so far. I hope my is not lost either.
