bro my suggestion for you is just wait till tenth day college offer you to deffer your admission or to refund your fee till tenth day. tenth day is usually10-15 days after your classes like in my case my classes supposed to start on 4th September but college offered me that i can make decision...

my suggestion for you is just justify all this in your SOP like your study gap with experience of job and mention that how your prospective course will help you in future. i did the same thing as there was 2 years study gap after my graduation and i got medical call now waiting for visa :) best...

they will charge you additional 150$, there would be a form attach with your acceptance letter from college mentioning airport pick up service and yeah for sure its bit expensive !
