Hey Guys I got the letter for oath ceremony. They are asking for a lot of the same documents I already showed. Do you need to bring in the same things again, (original docs etc) Are they actually going to check all this again?

Apparently my letter was sent on the 31at October but som far I havnt gotten anything. Can anyone summarise the letter quickly ie. what you need to bring, how many people you can invite etc?

Yes, it changed like a couple of days after my test - so nearly three months ago

Next monday will be three months since i took the test. If I dont hear anything by then, i will call them up. Im assuming its not possible to call the Scarborough processing centre directly?

Does anyone know how far in advance of the oath ceremony they normally notify you of your date? I mean if you havnt heard by now, is it too late for November, or is there still a chance?

They list the dates up until the 18th November, and it seems like there are no oath ceremonies in Scarb between now and then.

That sucks. My PR card expired around the time of the test, and I was told not to renew my PR card as I would have the oath ceremony "in a few weeks" >:( I'm still waiting and I cant travel anywhere! I heard that Scarb is just one oath ceremony a month and that they filled November?

Hi All Took my test in Scarb on Aug 10th. Website has said Decision made for a long time. Still waiting for Oath ceremony. Should I be concerned? How frequent are the oath ceremonies? Thanks

I have a law degree from a English university back in 2004. Would this be sufficient, or should I just just take the English exam here for the sake of it.

Hi Guys Born and raised in London England, and have been here over 4 years. Am currently applying for citizenship. Got PR through spousal sponsorship. Do I still need to take a language test? I havnt taken a "course" in the English language. Many Thanks.

Hi Guys Became a PR in June 2011, and have barely been out of the country since(maybe two months in total out the country). Must I wait until June 2015 before i can apply, or can I apply now, even though its not been 4 years, but I have been here over 1,095 days? Many Thanks
