FINALLY, I got my oath ceremony invitation this morning 8AM by email from Mississauga to appear for oath on September 11th, I did my test in Scarborough on April 9th but invited to Mississauga for ceremony. Its been a long Journey ...and wish you all the best Admin please update

I just called CIC to follow up my urgent processing request for oath ceremony ( because of my job concerns) , the agent said that my file has been transferred from Scarborough to Mississauga office and I have to wait to hear back from Mississauga office. What a brutal wait and line up . :-(

you can ask for expedite process, but this needs a work letter from employer to specifically mention that they will fire you if you won't be able to travel and no employer accepts to write such comments , this will have some consequences for them.

I did my test back in April and I know 2 close friends had test on January in Scarborough and none of us got the ceremony invite... its a brutal line up. I need my passport to be able to travel to US ...I'm just this close to lose my job and still no news from Scarborough

Thanks for your reply, Actually MP asked me a job letter from my employer to specify exactly that if I won't be able to travel they will fire me. and my employer says we can not write this and I don't think that any other employer accept this .

I Just noticed that my family name is not correct on the test invite letter , everything else like file number is correct. Do I need to contact CIC? or its fine
