fawad pl correct ur misconception! it is true that the canada visa has a very high refusal rate as compared to Australia..... the main reason behind it is that canada does not want ppl who will become a burden for them in the coming years...for this reason they dont entertain ppl with weak...

the website is bit confusion and so does the prog! in MUN M.Engg relates to research based prog and MASC relates to course based one! the application deadline for fall session for research based is 1 nov and for course based is 1 April! though my friend applied on 15 april.....still his file...

need not to worry at all! the stamped visa ie TRV does not have the name of the university.....when u land,u just need to show McGill acceptance letter.....visa officer doesnt have any clue that u have earlier applied in concordia! so just buckle up and join Mcgill....
