Once you send your application online to IRCC for a visitor record, are you "legal" until you hear from them? e.g. we sent application in on July 4, 2020 and 6 months visitor visa run out on August 10th. Thank you! :)

We are trying to fill out the family information form for my fiancé application for a visitor record. He doesn't know the exact death dates for either of his parents. Will this cause a problem or is there some way you can enter this on the form? Thank you!
