I applied after getting nominated, I sent the application using lawyer to CIC Buffalo in June 2010. I received request for documents in Aug 2010. I have no updates since then, is it normal? What is the current trend?

I have a question. I have received AINP nomination and applying in Buffalo office for the next stage. If in say 2 months time I have to leave US and go back to India, what happens to my application? Does it get transferred to New Delhi? Or if it stays in Buffalo office how does stamping...

I have sent email enquiring status of my application(as I did not get file number), hoping to hear back. Does anyone know if they do respond to email queries.

I had applied through old process in Dec and after pre-assement was completed in Jan, I had filed my application in Feb. I have not received any file number yet. Should I email them for aplication status?

I am also in the same boat as you are. Applied in first week of December through a Lawyer. Please post if you find anything, I will if I find anything. Its over a month, hopefully will hear something this month.
