I took the Oath of Citizenship this morning at 11 AM in Scarborough. At this Citizenship Ceremony, 82 of us from 33 different countries became Canadian citizens. I'd like to thank all the members of this forum for their valuable input. Wish you all the best.

That would be nice. I hope your ceremony is in November. Mine probably won't take place before December; because there are applicants who took the test before me (in Scarborough) and are waiting to be scheduled for the oath ceremony. :)

We can call them, but I don't think the phone call would speed up the process. Two additional oath ceremonies have just been added to Scarborough location for the month of November. I really believe we'll get DM/oath/passports soon. :)

Before oath ceremonies are scheduled, CIC interviewers can only estimate. Hopefully soon there'll be more oath ceremonies scheduled for Scarborough office. I know... This is the last step of the process and we want to complete it as soon as possible. BTW, the same here, no DM on ecas. :)

I was told I can expect to receive the oath invitation within 2-4 months.

I think that Scarborough office is processing applications pretty fast (from date delivered to test/interview date). The citizenship ceremonies schedule is most likely based on the availability of Citizenship Judge. There are only 13 Citizenship Judges in entire Canada (soon to be 11)...

I'm not sure. I believe that applications are processed in CIC office closest to your home address. Good luck.

I just checked CIC website for citizenship ceremonies in Ontario. Scarborough is even not on the list: Ontario Hamilton Markham Mississauga Ottawa Port Dover Toronto

You need to bring only the items listed in the letter from CIC (included with the invitation to write the test). Good luck.

We (in Scarborough) were not allowed to bring any liquids, not even into the waiting room. I don't think anyone on this forum will help you with the test questions. They are copyrighted and confidential; we can not discuss them. Good luck.
