mariah, POVL is a Promise Of Visa Letter. Basically, it's a letter/e-mail where the Embassy says they are ready to issue you a visa.

My husband got a letter of approval finally 8) The decision was made on June 2. Can't log in to ECAS though ::) So you guys should hear from CIC any day now.
