I hope you don't mind me opening this thread again. how did the application go? Did you you have to go to New york for the process or you just had to wait for them to mail the TRV and your passport back to you? I don't have US visa so it would be hard for me if they will ask me to go there.

I am a visitor in Canada and got an ofeer from an employer to work. I will try to submit the work permit application in New York visa office. Does any one have the same experience? Do I need to get a US visa? Did anybody had to actually go there or they will just send you back your passport...
