How long is the maximum waiting time after they request, received the passport & return the passport to you with visa stamp on it?

I know the feeling of waiting too long. What I understand is that they don't recommend to make a follow up regarding your status. Our experience with the updates on ECAS is that it only change to medical received. It didn't go through status "in process" and luckily skip to DECISION MADE....Here...

We sent our application (SINP) NOv2012 and were approved June 2013.....We got our PPR last Feb 27!!! Don't worry, yours will be coming out soon...

My husband already submitted a Police clearance,aside from the fbi & nbi submitted to them....If police clearance can be obtain from RCMP, why are they asking for another RCMP criminal record?

1. My husband were asked to provide RCMP, What is the purpose of Royal Canadian Mounted Police? 2. If you have received a Confirmation for Permanent residence, Does that mean your on the process of Passport request & VISA?
