I got 50 points for water and wastewater treatment (NOC 9243) operator certificate. Thou i don’t work in that NOC. I just had certificate that i got after passing an exam scoring more than 70%. It was issued by province ontario under ministry of environment and climate change.

I have no idea about that but you will get 50 points if you select ‘Yes’ under certificate of qualification question. The only concern is if Immigration approves your CSC certificate as a COQ. Because its not under skilled trade. So its risky

Certificate of qualification is for skilled trades and your CSC license is not a trade license. Trade licenses are plumber, electrician etc.. Only province can issue you a certificate plus it has to be in a skilled trade: major group 72,73,82 and 92.

However, you can still get a Certificate of qualification in a skilled trade from a province and use it to get the points regardless of your work stream. But it has to be under skilled trades major groups: 72,73,82 and 92.

It is not a skilled trade. Certificate of qualification applies to skilled trades.

Hello. I work in NOC 2211 but i have certificate of qualification for major group 92 and NOC 9243. Will i get 50 points? I have express entry profile under Canadian experience class ?

But why would they ask this question if i am under canadian experience class ?

I am confused because my work NOC is different from the certificate of qualification that i have (9243). And i read forums here people saying that certificate of qualification is only for people who work in skilled trades @limin_w .
