I experienced that once. The exact same situation as you. I think that means checking ur eligibility.. cuz I got approved the next day.

Got my work permit approved today! My timeline is like this: Applied on June 10. Started to change the status as “application/profile updated” on Sep 28. Got final decision as approved on Sep 30. 112 days in total, haven’t get the paper yet. Hope u guys can all get yours sooon!

If ur talking abt your entry visa and ur currently in Canada, u can renew it before u leave Canada. It doesn’t matter if ur visa is expired or not as long as u don’t leave the country. U just need to make sure ur visa is valid when u enter the country. For renewing u just need to go to CIC to...
