Hello! Does anyone know the latest processing time for tatkal re-issue of passports? My husband did his in April 2021 and his tatkal app took 3-4 weeks. I imagine that was due to the lockdowns. Is it any quicker now?

Landed Jan 11 Photo re-submission request on Feb 22 Photos delivered Feb 25 Linked application to account sometime in March. Ghost update March 12 (today). Hoping for some positive movement soon! I have a trip planned for April 2.

Your details should match your passport exactly. What worked for me was using my [hometown, province] in that format under 'city of birth'. Prior to this I used just the name of my hometown, and that gave me nothing. So using every detail in your passport with the correct syntax is key.

It's the weirdest thing. Got mine from a registered canadian photographer in TO. Photos were accepted for coPR, but they requested new ones just for the PR card, 41 days after landing.:mad: This process just never ends.

I sent my passport on Tuesday and it was delivered today. :)

Two weeks because the strike was ongoing then. Doesn't necessarily mean that it will take 2 weeks now. The strike officially ended at noon yesterday, because the senate has passed the bill to end it. Delivery can take as little as three days now.

Yeah, not much delay- just 24 hours- according to the latest tracking info. So instead of being delivered Nov 29, it will be on Nov 30. It's clearing up quickly! :)

Delivered to Ottawa from Toronto. Return would depend on how fast Ottawa stamps the visa and dispatches my passport. Hopefully within this year

Hey guys, the Canada Post strike ended at noon yesterday. I sent everything to Ottawa through XpressPost yesterday evening, and was told that there are some backlogs. So I should expect my package to be delivered only next week (as oppose to next day). Lol Edit: There's only a 24 hour delay...

Recent PPRs: The instructions in my rfv email say "Do not fill out the address section in the return envelope". I was also asked to attach an Annex A to the package I send to Ottawa- which is a barcoded form with my name and mailing address on it, pretty much. Can someone enlighten me as to...

Another silly question: They also say "Do not fill out the address section in the Canada post return envelope". Do they mean leave the address section completely blank, or do we only fill out the return address (i.e, our mailing address) and leave the from address blank?

Yeah, my PPR is from the same email ID: IRCC.CIO-BRCD.IRCC@cic.gc.ca , and I was wondering if it's legit as well. By the way, which address did they ask you to send it to? Was it CPC – Ottawa – PR PO Box 8781 Ottawa, ON K1G 4B9?
