    Study Permit application from Singapore/Malaysia

For my case, they were waiting for me to go do a new medical check up, cos my previous check up results expired. However, as soon as they received my new medical report, and the system shows my application status as submitted, I think they approved my application within 1 - 2 weeks. That is why...

    Study Permit application from Singapore/Malaysia

WTF? Twice a week since first week of June and they only give you updates now? Thats really sucky. But is the approval given for the Sept 22 or Jan 23 intake? Does it make a difference? For me they gave me the approval a little too quickly, which is why I am worried this may not be for the...

    Study Permit application from Singapore/Malaysia

Why are you getting so quick and regular updates? I used the webform too but so far I never got anything except for the acknowledgement email. Is this really for randomly selected people only?

    Study Permit application from Singapore/Malaysia

Thats exactly the case for me !! Over at my profile, it shows my visa approved, but there is no indication which DLI this approval is for, and there is absolutely no way for me to find out unless I order GCMS notes, which is not only stupid as fxxk but take ages to reach. I have no idea why...

    Centennial College fee receipt!

What? Why are you even paying the college when you have not received any letter of acceptance? So meaning you are paying for a placement that you do not even have? I have dealt with Centennial College before and quite honestly speaking, I am not very impressed with them.

    Study Permit application from Singapore/Malaysia

I dun think you will receive an acknowledgement email if you submit a web form. All you get is an acknowledgement page if I'm not wrong. You do receive an acknowledgement reply if you send an email to the visa office. Since your spouse is the one studying, then the crucial one is her study...

    Study Permit application from Singapore/Malaysia

By the way, it takes a full month for IRCC (according to them, btw) to receive or process any webform sent to them. But you WILL NOT receive any form of notification even if they act on it. So it could be an endless wait for you. What visa are you applying for? This is the webpage for the...

    Study Permit application from Singapore/Malaysia

Please do not congratulate me yet, because I am not sure if this approval is for my new DLI. If this is for my earlier DLI, then it is as good as useless. I just sent in my order for GCMS notes. Its going to be yet another long wait before I receive it. Fingers crossed.

    Study Permit application from Singapore/Malaysia

Hey thanks for asking. Just so happens, I received an approval from IRCC for my visa this morning. However I cannot be certain that this approval is for my new DLI, although I have sent in 2 webforms previously and I wrote to the Singapore visa office twice, 1st time almost 2 months ago, the...

    URGENT: Regarding Changing DLI

I think you should ask yourself, if your visa approval is received for the previous DLI, will you want to proceed with it, or otherwise? I believe IRCC in their system, the visa officer, while processing your profile, they ought to be able to see that you have submitted a web form with updated...

Marriage after receiving study visa, but before entering to Canada

Marriage after receiving study visa, but before entering to Canada

Just WTF is your problem? What is so darn wrong about talking about culture issues and constraints? How am I making any arguments here? Are you fking outta your mind? Oh please, rather than simply waving the convenient finger at me, how about you just man up and freaking admit that you are a...

    URGENT: Regarding Changing DLI

Sorry but I don't get your question. You submitted a web form to IRCC, because you wanted to update them with new documents correct? So as long as you attached those documents in your web form, they sent you a confirmation email that they received it, that will be fine. I dun understand why you...

Marriage after receiving study visa, but before entering to Canada

I am actually very open minded. As a matter of fact, I very much welcome that option. No man will ever say no to freedom like that. But matter of fact about life is that, in a marriage, it aint just about YOU. You gotta deal with parents and in laws, who are traditional, who are stuck up, and...

    URGENT: Regarding Changing DLI

That email which you received is merely a standard system generated template from the visa office when their mail server received your enquiry. If you submitted a webform, I believe you only see a confirmation page after making the submission, they do not send you a separate email for that.

Marriage after receiving study visa, but before entering to Canada

That I do agree with you. Except that it is just a BIG hassle to have to "prove" your relationship, when you can just be done with it and shut those guys up if you are actually married and have a legit marriage certificate.

Marriage after receiving study visa, but before entering to Canada

Geez, I am just saying cohabitation is not common practice throughout the continent. What are you so salty and sensitive for? Are there exceptions to the rule? Hell sure yes, but that doesn't mean the general rule doesn't apply.

Marriage after receiving study visa, but before entering to Canada

In a manner of speaking, yes. But here in Asia, its actually TABOO to cohabit together unless you are actually married ! Asia culture does not promote nor glorify this 'limbo' sort of relationship thingy either. LGBT is not recognized also. I dun think you can get issued a common law marriage...

Marriage after receiving study visa, but before entering to Canada

I am Asian, and we dun have things like 'Common Law' marriages. Its either you're married, or you're fugging not. Hell, you can ask around, 11 out of 10, people here wun even have a freaking understanding just wtf Common Law marriages are. You'll be pulling your hair out just trying to explain...
