I don't think it matters that you are Indian and I am American when entering Canada, what counts is that we are now Canadians entering Canada and Canadians do not need a passport to enter Canada by land.

I am American so I use my USA passport into the States, coming back into Canada I have already used my DL twice. The border agent even told me that my health card would be fine.

I have crossed the back into Canada twice since I became a citizen last week. I used my driver's license and had no problem. Took the paper the first time but didn't need either time.

I had a big family and in Qc you have two phases of PR, thus two costs. That was also before the PR fees were radically reduced. Then we got caught in the closure of the Buffalo office and lost a few years. All done now though!

Ceremony yesterday in Montreal! Arrived in Canada on July 1, 1999 and became citizens on October 25, 2018. Grateful.

Hmm...I see. My papers say to arrive at 1:30 and the cermony on the website says 2:15. I went to a ceremony in March and it took a while for them to verify everyones document so you might be okay. The documents that they send tell you to arrive 15 minutes BEFORE the time, that would be 8:45 in your case. I would not arrive later than that if I were you.

The Eggheads received their oath invitation today - all set for Oct. 25th in Montreal.

Took our tests today - passed easily. Agent said that everything is fine, but since I have some travel in Nov. and Dec. our ceremony might not be until Jan. Just saw that there is a ceremony scheduled for Sherbrooke on Oct. 4th - that NEEDS to happen.
