    issues with Canada Post!!

    May be because of holiday season. I had similar issue with Canada Post two years back during this time of the year. In the end I got my passport back. Just make sure you tell Call Center that package contains Passport and treat this as high priority.

    Got my Passport request today (Ready For Visa Letter). I sent my passport last week to CIC for Temporary Resident Visa (paper application). Not sure if I should cancel my TRV application or wait until they return my passport. Any suggestions ?

    Finally got 'Request for payment of RPRF' :) (applied on Dec 20,2012 - AOR on Feb 6, 2013). I thought for Biodata they will send a form/word doc/pdf. It was an embedded table in the e-mail.. Shall I just copy that table and fill in a word document ?

    Got 'In Canada Approval Letter' mail today in 'My CIC' account. :) Applied for BOWP on Oct 2, 2013, Old WP Valid until Jan 31, 2014. It was renewed until Oct 30, 2014

    To apply TRV within Canada you need a valid Work permit or Study permit. I think you can apply, but you will get a TRV that is valid until April (expiry of your current work permit).
