My friends went there like 9PM and they said that there is no line in front of the borders and no line in front of the immigration desk. You can give it a try. CBSA officers are very nice and professional.

Hi Xiaopan, I just landed in Kingston on 30 June, 2018. That place is really nice and there is no line in front of the immigration desk (but you need to go early because there can be a long line at the US border and Canadian border).

Well, normally I saw people get their status changed to approved from 1 day to 14 days after their passport got received.

No I can't see my visa expiry date but I can see the foil number. I think you need to wait several days, don't worry, as long as your passport arrived there, you will be fine.
