In my profile, there has never been "Received" option from the beginning but there has been "in process" all the time for the last 6 months and my file is still sitting in Sydney office.

Hi guys, When an application is returned because of, for example lack of official school record, is it considered as a non-routine application or a regular application with a new receiving date when it is re-submitted.

I would second it, down the road the files are processed by humans and it turns out that some of them are flexible and the other ones a**l.

Most probably he has been in Canada before becoming PR, e.g. most students do the same.

It took 85 days (from the date of mailing the application to receiving the AOR in mail) for me to get it.

50-60 days is a good estimation; to be exact, it took 51 days for me back in 2012.
